Bible Verse Reading for Friday 2nd May 2025 – Deuteronomy 7:1

“When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee… seven nations greater and mightier than thou;”

Message:
God is a covenant-keeping God who goes before His people to prepare the land He has promised. The presence of greater and mightier nations does not negate His promise — in fact, it magnifies His power. What seems insurmountable to you is already under God’s authority. He doesn’t call you because you are the strongest; He calls you because He is. This is a season where God is driving out spiritual strongholds, generational opposition, and entrenched resistance so that you may walk into divine possession. Trust not in your strength, but in the One who goes before you.

Other Bible Reference:
Joshua 1:5 (KJV) “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for going before me and driving out every force that opposes Your promise over my life. I declare that every mighty and intimidating enemy is no match for Your power. I trust in Your covenant and rely on Your strength. As I move forward, help me to possess every territory assigned to me. May fear not paralyze me, and may faith rise within me. I walk boldly, knowing that You are with me, and You have already secured my victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
